The main gymnasium/arena is the 'home-court" for intercollegiate athletics. The competition floor was resurfaced just prior to the 2003-04 school year and additional lettering and design work has given an updated look. Follow the links below to attend your next Eagle Athletic event.

The auxiliary court provides additional space for team practices and open recreation. A suspended cage allows the baseball, softball and golf programs to practice inside and the all-purpose arena floor allows for outdoor teams to practice when necessary. The athletic training room and all locker rooms are located just off the main concourse.

OPEN GYM TIMES
Designated open recreation times for the Rice Center gymnasium/arena are listed below. The gymnasium/arena is also available during non-listed times if there are no athletic practices or events. Athletic teams use the gymnasium extensively during the colder months. The heaviest traffic time for athletics tends to be weekdays around the lunch hour and between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Monday -- Friday

Saturdays -- Sundays

Benedictine also sponsors a number of campus recreation programs which are open to all students and staff members. Many of the campus recreation programs take place in the Rice Center during non-peak activity hours. For more information on Campus Recreation, contact Emily Payne at 829-6107.
