Main
Entrance
The main entrance to the Rice Center is located on the building's
east side, facing the corner of College Avenue (Yackley Avenue) and Maple
Avenue. The main foyer houses the Athletic Hall of Fame plaques and trophy
cases which display recent awards bestowed upon Benedictine student-athletes
and teams.

Athletic Offices
The Benedictine University Athletic Staff call the Rice Center
home on a daily basis. All full-time coaches are available on a year-round
basis, but are easier to reach "in-season" and during the fall and
spring semesters.
Trophy Room
The "Trophy Room" is located on the upper level of
the Rice Center. This gathering space houses a concession stand for athletic
events and overlooks the pool from the upper level (a great place for parents
to watch swim lessons). It is also commonly used for concert band practice,
cheerleading practice and other activities that do not require the larger
space of a gymnasium.
On the west wall of the "Trophy Room" is a large display
case which holds some of the honors, awards and memorabilia of the Danada
Farms Ada L. Rice Stable including photos of both Daniel and Ada Rice, actual
racing silks worn by the jockeys of that era and numerous trophies, cups and
awards, including the victory racing plates worn by Lucky Debonair, the 1965
Kentucky Derby Winner owned by Ada Rice.
