Student Activities

In order to be recognized as a registered student organization,
each organization must do each of the following.
1. Submit a contact list of your organizations executive board
or key members to the Student Activities Office. This enables
us to provide you with important dates, events, and deadlines.
Please provide your contact list by May 30, 2006.
2. Submit three copies of an updated organization constitution
to the Student Activities Office. The copies will be distributed
to SGA for approval. Constitutions are due by September 31, 2006.
3. Provide the Student Activities Office with a Saturday Night
at BU proposal. Each organization has been asked to create an
activity or event for a Saturday night at Benedictine University.
Your organization will be responsible for facilitating this event
or activity on a date determined by the Student Activities Office.
4. Attend a re-registration workshop in September (Presidents
and Vice Presidents). There are three dates available to sign
up: September 5 at 12 noon, September 8 at 4pm, and September
14 at 12:00 noon.
5. Attend monthly House of Representatives Meetings. House of
Representatives Meetings will be held on Tuesday nights at 6:00
p.m. Each organization is required to have one representative
at the meeting to discuss upcoming events and activities. The
House of Representatives meeting gives organizations the opportunity
to collaborate with one another and to be informed of what is
happening on campus.
