Arthur J. Schmitt Foundation Future Leaders Scholarship Award General Available to students of sophomore status and above with GPA 3.0/4.0. Students shall submit an essay (along with supporting materials, if appropriate) describing past leadership accomplishments, leadership activity at Benedictine University, and how the student anticipates serving as a leader in the future. Essay should be 2 to 4 pages in length - double spaced. Students will still have to fill out an application and get two faculty recommendations.

Ginevra and Anthony Abbatiello Memorial Scholarship and Endowment Music Student must be entering junior, senior or graduate status and must have formally declared music as his/her major. Student must have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and financial need. Student must have an interest in Italian music of the Baroque, Romantic, and Classic periods as well as the 20th Century music composed before 1930 - not specifically operatic music - but with special attention to Italian folkloric music. Student must perform an example of the Italian music vocally or instrumentally for the donors during the year of the scholarship disbursement. Scholarship is renewable for 2 years.
