Space Request

It is the policy of Benedictine University that all space requests be made via this web page within at least seven (7) business days of the proposed event date. Personal e-mail and phone requests will NOT be accepted. This site is intended for the use of Benedictine University faculty and staff only. The Office of Student Activities must make all student organization space requests.

**Submitting a space request via this web page does not guarantee approval. Please await for an official confirmation or a discrepancy e-mail from the space scheduler, which will be sent within a timely manner to the e-mail address provided within the form.

To ensure a successful space request, please follow the instructions below:

  • Check RESOURCE 25 to view the availability of the space for the date and time you will be requesting.
  • Once the R25 calendar has been reviewed, return to the Space Requests Home Page.
  • Choose the appropriate space request form on the index to the left, complete the form, and submit it.
  • You will receive a confirmation number with your reservation; this number is required to request services from AV, Campus Services, and/or Food Services.

  • If the request date is within the 7 day time frame, you need to contact Rudy Dardy for AV, Kathy Rutkowski for Campus Services, and/or Susan Swanson for Food Services to determine if they are able to accommodate the request.
  • You will be contacted to review the details of your event within the two (2) week period of your event if you are utilizing AV, Campus Services, or Food Services.

The above space schedulers are not responsible for the scheduling of any logistical assistance. If additional services are requested of Sodexo Food Services, Sodexo Campus Services, Information Technologies, University Police, etc., it is the responsibility of the Event Organizer to contact those areas after receiving a space confirmation.
