May and August 2013 Degree Candidates

The faculty and staff at Benedictine University at Springfield congratulate you as you complete (or have completed) the final requirements that will make you a member of the 2013 graduating class.

Here is a list of dates you will want to remember.

December 15, 2012 – March 26, 2013: Order caps and gowns online. All orders must be placed by 12:00 a.m., March 26, 2013 when the site will close down.

March 22, 2013: Deadline to return your response card.

Monday, May 6, 2013 – Thursday, May 16, 2013: May pick up cap and gown and generic announcements in the Mail Room on the lower level of Dawson Hall.

Remember all financial obligations, including graduation fees and library obligations, must be settled prior to pick-up of cap and gown. Benedictine accepts cash, personal checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Friday, May 17, 2013: Baccalaureate Mass, Sacred Heart Chapel, Beata Hall, 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Students and faculty dressed in academic attire will report for line-up: 6:45 p.m.

Friday, May 17, 2013: Awards and Hooding Ceremony, Angela Hall, 7:00 p.m.

Students dressed in academic attire will take their seats: 6:45 p.m.

Faculty dressed in academic attire will report for line-up: 6:45 p.m.

Students Report for Line-Up at 9:00 a.m. in the Northeast corner of the Prairie Capital Convention Center

Commencement: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
