OD leaders offer insights into how organizations must lead, change

Area leaders in Organization Development will discuss current research in the field from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Memorial Medical Center
Springfield, Illinois ~ Benedictine University at Springfield is holding a Family Weekend event on campus for students and their families from Saturday-Sunday, April 20-21. The event kicks off with an alumni networking event on Thursday, April 18 at the Brinkerhoff Home from 5:00-7:30 p.m.
On Saturday morning beginning at 8:30 a.m., Benedictine will host the annual Running of the Bulldogs 5K Run/Walk that takes place around the campus and through local Lincoln Park. Registration for the 5k run/walk can be filled out online at http://benbulldogrun.eventbrite.com .
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., there will be a campus open house along with activities. From 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., guests can join us for a cookout on the 5th Street Lawn of the campus. On Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m., the Benedictine University at Springfield Literary Club presents a Murder Mystery and Dinner inside Angela Hall Gymnasium. Sunday, starting at 10:30 a.m., a Catholic mass will be held at St. Joseph Parish located at 1345 North Sixth Street.
“We’re excited to welcome the families of our students to campus as a way to show our appreciation for all they’ve done to support their student. It’s a way that we can share our Benedictine traditions of community and hospitality beyond the student experience on campus,” said Associate Vice President of Student Life and Services, Kevin Broeckling.
Benedictine University at Springfield is an independent Roman Catholic institution located in the Illinois state capital. Founded in 1887, Benedictine provides 17 undergraduate majors, five graduate and one doctorate program in Springfield, in addition to a wide range of athletic opportunities for students through membership in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
