Academic Advising

The Advising Office is available to assist full and part time students in planning their academic work.

Students themselves are responsible for knowing and satisfying degree requirements and for identifying courses that are required by their intended transfer programs and institutions.

Degree Requirements

The Bachelor Degree is awarded upon completion of a minimum of 120 semester credit hours of which 55 semester hours at the Baccalaureate level must be completed at a four-year regionally accredited college/
university.

Bachelor Degree candidates must meet entrance requirements and have a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0 (C) or higher, as major program requires; a minimum of 45 semester hours, including twelve 200+ level semester credit hours in the major field, must be from Benedictine University.

Entrance requirements and financial obligations must be satisfactorily met before any degree will be awarded.

Application for Graduation

Students must complete and file an Application for Graduation with the Registrar. The Application for Graduation triggers a final audit to verify that a student has fulfilled all the necessary requirements to be eligible for their degree. A separate form must be filed for each degree received.
