The mission of Commuter Services is to enhance the experience of Commuter Students through services, programs, and advocacy while encouraging them to become active and engaged participants of the Benedictine University Community. Commuter Services supports and implements the Commuter Assistance Program through the Office of Student Activities.
The Commuter Assistance program matches freshman and transfer students with a commuter student assistant (CSA) who will help them connect to the campus and provide information and guidance throughout the commuter student’s first year.
Visit your CSAs in Kindlon or stop by student activities in Krasa Student Center, Room 020.
Lockers are conveniently located in Kindlon and Birck Halls and are available at no cost to commuter students on a first come first served basis. Lockers can be reserved by visiting Room 020 in the Krasa Student Center on the first day of classes.
Several commuter meal plan options are available and can be purchased from Dining Services, located in the Krasa Student Center, Room 206.
Commuter students are encouraged to attend the many social, educational and athletic events offered on campus. Commuter Student Assistants plan a variety of events designed specifically for commuter students to engage with other commuter students.
