Student mailboxes are located on the lower level of the Krasa Center. Mail is delivered by 1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. The University’s Mailroom is open hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and closed on weekends and most national holidays. You can reach the Mailroom at (630) 829-6426.
Please be advised all resident students will receive a blue card providing you your mailbox combination when you pick up your keys. You will need to memorize the combination or keep the card with you for mail pickup. If you misplace your mailbox assignment/combination card, a replacement can be obtained from the mailroom in the Krasa Center.
Each student living on-campus is assigned a mailbox. During the course of the year, University offices or affiliated groups may send information to your mailbox. We recommended you check your mailbox regularly.
Many students receive packages from home or order items online. If these items are too large for your mailbox, we will need to notify you so that you can pick the item up at the Mailroom. We encourage all students to fill out a cellphone notification card so that we can notify you of delivery.
Yes, the Mailroom sells stamps and accepts letters and parcels for mailing. You can deposit letters using the mail slot located near the Mailroom entrance 24 hours a day. The Mailroom will provide a brochure listing other services. Please make time to review.
Yes, for a $1 fee, the Mailroom will send a fax message for you. Please note, the fee is higher for long distance and faxes sent to foreign countries.
