Student Engagement and Leadership Development
AMSA 5K

Student Life enhances the development of students as lifelong learners and leaders by supporting them throughout the progression of their academic careers.

American Medical Students Association is holding its Fourth Annual 5K on April 7th, 2013. The purpose of this 5K is to raise money for HomeCare Physicians (HCP).  HomeCare Physicians is a nationally recognized, award winning medical house call program to the homebound.  The mission of HomeCare Physicians is to provide compassionate, comprehensive, state-of-the-art medical home health care to improve the quality of life of homebound patients and their caregivers.  HCP strives to enable patients to stay at home, thus reducing costly hospitalizations and nursing home placements.

HomeCare Physicians is generously supported by Cadence Health.

Early bird registration of $20 ends at March 10th, 2013. After March 10th, runners can register online for $25.  Online registration ends on March 31st. The On-Site registration starts at 7:00 am on the race day in the Krasa Student Center at Benedictine University.  The race begins at 9:00 am.

First 100 registered runners will receive free T-shirts.  Prizes will be given to the 1st-3rd place male and female runners.  There will be variety of raffle prizes as well.  Come out, have a great time, and support a great cause!
