Pilates
Pilates is a method exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. With systematic practice of specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns, Pilates has proven itself invaluable not only as a fitness endeavor itself, but also as an important adjunct to professional training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds. Practiced faithfully, Pilates yields numerous benefits. Increased lung capacity and circulation through deep, healthy breathing is a primary focus. Strength and flexibility, particularly of the abdomen and back muscles, are key components of the effective program.
Benedictine students and staff are invited to join this class for *FREE! Mats and optional equipment are not provided.

As a BU participant you do not need to register, just show up with your ID and sign-in at the door each time you attend.
NON-BU participants may pay $10 for a single class, $75 for a 10 class punch card, or $100 for a 20 class punch card. These cards may be purchased and used in any of the Benedictine group fitness classes.
