The Department of Facilities Management at Benedictine University is a comprehensive operations unit consisting of Maintenance and Engineering functions, Housekeeping and Event Support, Grounds and Landscaping Services, and office related services.
The staff in which falls under the Facilities Management umbrella (over 70 total staff), manage the entire inventory of Benedictine University faciltiies and properties (26 unique properties) and over 110 acres of campus grounds. The Housekeeping and Event Support unit supports close to 500 individual university events each year including key university events such as Homecoming, Athletic Events, Welcome Days, and Commencement.
