Welcome Students to the 2021-2022 School Year!

Fall 2021 Career Walk-in Hours: (In Person and Virtual)

During our walk-in hours, drop by and visit with Career Advisors face to face to receive assistance on your resume, cover letter or to ask a career question. Students will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. The approximate time dedicated to each student is 20 minutes. If more time is required to assist you, an appointment will need to be scheduled outside of walk-in hours.

Visit our Virtual Student and Alumni Career Services page for information on how to navigate your career through these challenging times.

Check out the Career Opportunity of the Week on our social media.

Job Postings: We post full-time career opportunities, internships, part-time positions and volunteer positions on our  Career Connect system. Visit our quick links section on the top right hand corner of this page to access this tool.

Fraudulent Job Postings: Unfortunately, job scams are fairly common in today's market. It's important to learn how to identify these job scams before you become a victim. Click here to view ACE's Guide to avoid fraudulent jobs.

Job Search Skill Development: ACE provides a variety of services to help students and alumni determine where they are and where they want to be in their careers. Individual career counseling and job search assistance is available to help students choose a major or career field, write a résumé and cover letter, conduct a job search, identify occupations within a certain major, master interviewing strategies and obtain graduate school information.

Events: We also host workshops and events throughout the year to enable students and alumni to develop a wide range of professional skills. Various networking events, which allow students and alumni to connect with employers, also occur throughout the school year.

See the event calendar for details on the career fair and other events!

Benedictine University Network

This online network (powered by Wisr), open to all BenU students and alumni, is a great way to connect with professionals working in your fields of interest! What better way to expand your professional network, and get insight into a potential career, work environment, or industry than by talking to experienced alumni? See this link for more information and to get started!
