PROPOSAL ROUTING & SUBMISSION PROCESS
  1. PI/PD Reaches Out to Grants Office to Discuss Proposal

 2.  PI/PD or Delegate Completes and Submits the Following:

Proposal Submission Form (Form-1):

Every proposal must have a signed form submitted 1 month prior to submission deadline.

  1. Complete and Sign Form

  2. Attach Budget and Project Summary

  3. Obtain Signature from Department Chair and Dean

  4. Submit form to Grants Office (GO will obtain Provost Signature)

Financial Conflict of Interest Form (Form-2):

If the proposal is being submitted to an HHS agency, NSF, AHA, ACS or as part of an industry sponsored trial, every PD/PI, Co-PD/PI must submit a Form-2. 

  1. Complete and Sign Form

  2. Submit form to Grants Office along with Proposal Submission Form

3.  PI/PD works with grants office on ensuring all proposal components are included and accurate and that budgeted numbers are correct.  

4.  Grants Office is responsible for submitting proposals on behalf of the University
