Event Description:
The Benedictine University Library invites students, faculty, and staff from the BenU Lisle campus to our Book Club discussion of Death Comes to the Archbishop by Willa Cather. The discussion will be held on Wednesday February 27th from Noon to 1pm in Kindlon room 311. There are copies available for checkout at the Library Research Center on the 3rd floor of Kindlon.
We are pleased to have Dr. Christine Fletcher as a featured speaker. Please join us as we explore this classic piece of literature by Willa Cather. The setting is the newly annexed territory of New Mexico in 1851. We follow a Bishop Latour who travels the area to reawaken its slumbering Catholicism.

Featuring Dr. Judith Simmer-Brown. Distinguished professor of Contemplative and Religious Studies from Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado, and one of the world's leading scholars in Buddhist wisdom.
