MPH student, Kate Kornfeind, is the 2017 recipient of the Illinois Public Health Association's Distinguished Public Health Student of the Year Award.  (Only one student receives this award in our state each year.)  Previous Benedictine University MPH students who have also achieved this honor are Amar Pandya in 2016 and Rebecca Carlstrom in 2014.
