The Writing Program at Benedictine

Peer Writing Tutors

The Peer Writing Tutors are a diverse and professional group!

The Peer Writing Tutors are available in Goodwin 320 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm Sunday thru Thursday evenings. Their majors range from English & Literature to Health Science, Biology, Psychology, and Medical Humanities. They are primarily juniors and seniors, and a favorable recommendation from a Benedictine University writing instructor was required prior to their employment.

Give Feedback on your Tutoring Experience:

There's an anonymous survey available at SurveyMonkey in which you can provide feedback on your tutoring experience. We like to give our tutors a pat on the back when it's deserved. Also, an important aspect of the Tutoring Program is to provide real work experience for the tutors. If they can do their job better, we provide them with coaching and an opportunity to improve. They want to be as effective as possible!
