Minimum Admission Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry and physics and a semester of calculus or statistics, human physiology and cell biology.
  • Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 on a scale of 4.0 in all completed classes. 
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended. MAIL TRANSCRIPTS to: Admissions Office, attn: Myskeshia Leon, Benedictine University, 5700 College Road, Lownik Enrollment Services Center 172, Lisle, IL 60532 or EMAIL TRANSCRIPTS to:
  • A personal statement expressing the student’s desire for the healthcare profession and the benefits of this course of study to their long term goals.
  • Two letters of recommendation (faculty, employer, etc.) OR ONE Health Science Recommendations Committee (HSRC) letter are acceptable.EMAIL LETTERS to:
  • Rolling Application submission. Interviews conducted within two weeks of receipt of completed application. Qualified students will be conditionally accepted within one week of departmental interview.
