Interview Track



  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.30
  • SAT: 1170, ACT: 24
  • Minimum MCAT: 500*

*MCAT exempt if coursework of Biochemistry and Genetics are taken and a grade of "B" or higher.



  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.30
  • DAT: 19 or greater, with a minimum of 19 in both Reading Comprehension and Perception Ability
  • A minimum of 100 hours of shadowing in a clinical dental setting is required.



  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Provide writing assessment
  • If PCAT has been taken, the essay score will be used in place of the writing assessment.

*This includes the Accelerated 3 year program in Erie, PA or the Traditional 4 year program in Bradenton, FL.

All programs require:

  • Completed LECOM application
  • Transcripts from Benedictine University in addition to any other post-secondary institutions
  • Completed LECOM supplemented application
  • Standardized test scores (taken within the 3 years preceding matriculation)
  • Two letters of recommendation, including one from the M.S.I.P. Program Director (Dr. Jayashree Sarathy)
