It doesn't matter what year you are, what your major is, or who your academic advisor is, if you are considering a career in a pre-professional or allied health program, it is crucial that you contact the pre-professional health career advisor as early as possible. Admission to these schools is very competitive, requiring much preparation and careful academic and skills assessment. An appointment is recommended so you make sure you have the time you need to get your questions answered. Sign up for a time to meet with Dr. Regina Schurman, the Director of Pre-Professional Programs, or Ms. Jennifer Salutric, Pre-Health Professions advisor. Their offices are on the first floor of Birck Hall in rooms 132 and 133. If distance is a concern, please request a virtual appointment using Zoom. They will make sure you are on the right track.
If you are not currently a student attending Benedictine University but are interested in transferring or have just recently transferred into our University, please contact our College of Science General Advisor, Katie Culotta in Birck 130. Dr. Culotta will make sure you are in the courses you need for the career you are seeking.
