Dear Benedictine University students, prospective students, faculty, and staff,
It is with great pleasure that I officially announce our planned return to an open and in-person environment across our campuses for the Fall Term 2021.
As positivity rates decline, the administering of vaccines accelerates, and federal and state health authorities continue to roll out new safety guidelines, Benedictine University is optimistic about the restoration of our robust on-campus experience. From residence halls and foodservice facilities to student life and athletic activities, our approach and return to normalcy will be implemented and continuously monitored over the coming months. We want to ensure the richness of our campus experience is achieved while maintaining focus on overall safety.
Students, faculty, and staff made incredible strides during this past academic year adapting to entirely remote learning. The successful application of this online platform now actually affords Benedictine University an even broader spectrum of educational approaches. With a healthy blend of live and online options for all types of students, we confidently and excitedly look forward to the Fall Term.
We will continue to update our entire community as more details become available. Until then, please continue your own personal safety efforts like wearing masks and practicing appropriate distancing.
