How do I apply for a job on campus?

  • Contact the hiring supervisor to discuss the position (contact information listed in the job posting).

Who decides who's hired for the job?

  • Hiring decisions are made by the hiring supervisor.

What do I do if I get hired?

  • Go to Human Resources in Lownik Enrollment Services Center, Suite 102, to complete the hiring process.

What does the hiring process entail?

  • The hiring process takes approximately 30 minutes and consists of watching a safety video, completing the federal and state W-4 forms, the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form and the Confidentiality Agreement.

What will I need to bring with me to complete the hiring process?

You will need to bring with you:

  • Completed Hiring Form (obtained from the hiring supervisor).
  • Original documents for employment eligibility verification (to complete the I-9 form). NOTE: Homeland Security requires that original documents be presented. Copies and faxes cannot be accepted (click here for the List of Acceptable Documents).

How and when do I get paid?

  • Besides receiving a paper check, students can sign up for direct deposit. Pay days are every two weeks (click here for the Bi-weekly Pay Schedule). Checks are picked up in the department in which you work.
