Welcome to Benedictine University and thank you for your interest in studying abroad! Studying in a foreign country for a year, semester, or just a few weeks is an excellent opportunity to practice a language, develop new skills, and better understand other cultures.

These programs are developed and run by faculty at BenU. Faculty create a course taught at the main campus involving an abroad program that is taken during a break session.
Benedictine University has developed partnerships with prestigious universities all around the world where our students can study for a semester or academic year; earn credit towards their major, minor, and core requirements while utilizing all of their financial aid and scholarships towards tuition.
Every year, International Programs and Services and Campus Ministry run volunteer abroad programs to Bolivia (every June) and the Philippines (every January). These programs provide BenU students with the opportunity to provide necessary assistance to those living in extreme poverty.
