Equipment for Checkout

Current Benedictine University students, faculty and staff can check out equipment at the Library Circulation Desk on the Lisle campus or in the Library in Gillett Hall on the Mesa campus. Most equipment checks out for 3 days. Chargers and adapters check out for 4 hours.

Scanners & Copiers

Lisle Campus

• Simple Scan Station on KN 3rd Floor near the Research Center and KN Lower Level near the Circulation Desk
  • Includes a large flatbed scanner and a feed scanner.
  • Best option for scanning books and journals.
  • You can view, zoom, and crop your pages before saving.
  • You can scan to email, Google Drive, or USB flash drive.

• Scanner/copiers on all 4 printers in the Library (KN 3rd Floor, KN 2nd Floor, and KN 030)
  • Includes a flatbed scanner and a feed scanner built in to the printer.
  • To scan, tap "Scan" on the printer touch screen. 
  • To make a copy, tap "Device Functions" on the printer touch screen.

• 12 computers in KN 232 (Computers in the lab print to the KN 3rd Floor printers. The lab also includes a computer on a lectern connected to a ceiling-mounted projector.)

• KN 044 - Includes a TV with HDMI cable to connect a laptop
• KN 045 - Includes a TV with HDMI cable to connect a laptop

Video Viewing Study Room

• KN 046 - Includes a TV connected to a DVD / Blu-ray player. Check out the remotes from the Circulation Desk.
