Attending an Admitted Student Day event is a great way to get to know us and ease your transition to college. You will have the opportunity to meet some of your future classmates, sign up to register for classes and talk with Financial Aid representatives about your scholarship, Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process and out-of-pocket costs.

Reserve Your Spot

To reserve your place in the fall entering class, pay your tuition deposit by the May 1 deadline. You will need the student ID number provided in your acceptance letter.

Filing the FAFSA

Complete your FAFSA form as soon as possible to ensure you receive all the financial aid for which you may be eligible. Include our school code: 001767.

Register for Classes

Once you submit your tuition deposit, you will be eligible to register for fall classes. Fall registration begins on March 1. Your academic advisor will contact you to set up an appointment.

Testing, Testing ... 1,2,3

Incoming freshmen with an ACT score of 20 may take an optional placement test in math. Placement testing can be taken at any time but requires three days advance notice.

Housing

Pay the housing deposit fee by June 30 to reserve on-campus residency. Assignments are confirmed by the end of July.

Final transcripts are due immediately following your high school graduation and must be received by September 28.

We look forward to hosting you during a visit at one of the upcoming S.O.A.R. Days. 

What is S.O.A.R.? An acronym for Student Orientation And Registration. This is BenU Mesa’s opportunity to help you manage the transition to becoming a student here before the semester begins. You will receive several pieces of information, as well as have an opportunity to meet Student Life Support Staff from across the BenU Mesa community during this visit.

What to expect:

  • Receive your class schedule and meet with an advisor to ask any questions about your academic program and learn about the advising process at BenU Mesa
  • Meet with Financial Aid and get assistance with any scholarship awards while meeting a financial aid representative. Ask any questions you may have about the financial aid process.
  • Gain access to the MyBenU web portal. This web account allows you to access your personal student portal and manage tuition, class schedule, library account, and so much more.
  • Driving a car to BenU Mesa and parking on campus? You will complete paperwork for parking.
  • SMILE! You will have your photo taken and walk away with your new Student ID card
  • Learn about important BenU Mesa resources and more…
