About the Student Life Office

The Student Life Office is committed to the enhancement of student learning and personal development. Emphasis is placed on the values of community responsibility, diversity, social justice, human dignity and our Benedictine heritage by modeling and providing programs that foster fairness, wellness, cooperation and leadership.

We are responsible for student services, educational programming, and learning experiences gained through out-of classroom activities. Student Life interacts with students through organized services and programs to create a campus responsive to individual student needs. We are interested in the whole well being, development and success of all our Benedictine students.

Beginning on January 17, 2022, Benedictine University in Lisle and Mesa, will kick off our celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luth King, Jr. In keeping with the Benedictine values of Humility, Community, and Stability, our goal is to provide students with opportunities to do virtuous deeds for others. These acts do not need to be large or require a lengthy commitment.

To highlight these selfless acts, we present you with the First Ever, BenU TikTok Challenge!

The Challenge will end on Monday, January 31 at 5:00 p.m. A panel of student volunteers will vote for their two favorite videos using the above-listed hashtags. Criteria will include adherence to Benedictine University Values and Student Responsibilities, creativity, overall likeability, and genuine sincerity.
