Benedictine University sophomore Nora Becker was named the Northern Athletics Conference "Student-Athlete of the Week" for women's cross country. Becker led the Eagles at their own Benedictine Invitational, finishing 12th out of 111 female competitors. Becker was the highest finisher among any of the NCAA Division III schools in the field, as well as among those from the NAC membership. Becker completed the six kilometer course in a time of 26:17.6.


Benedictine University is an independent Roman Catholic institution located in Lisle, Illinois just 25 miles west of Chicago.
