Benedictine's swimming team lost both the men's and women's cometition at Lake Forest College. Erik Morales won the men's 200 meter breaststroke (2:58.56). He also had a pair of second place finishes in the 200-meter butterfly (2:23.67) and 200-meter freestyle (2:13.95). Jim Pelletiere was second in the men's 400-meter freestyle (5:15.45). Freshman Nora Becker had a trio of second place finishes to pace the women's team. Becker swam to runner-up finishes in the 200-meter freestyle (2:33.62), 400-meter freestyle (5:27.22) and 200-meter breaststroke (3:15.30).
