A strong Concordia Univesity (Wis.) squad - currently sitting atop the Northern Athletics Conference standings - proved to be too much for Benedictine University on Thursday afternoon, 9-0. The Eagles fell to 0-3, 0-2 in the NAC, while CUW improved to 4-1, 4-0 in the NAC. Jessica Armour and Evangelina Gallegos, playing third and sixth singles respectively, were the only BU players to take at least one game in each set played. Benedictine returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 15) at Edgewood College for a 9:00 a.m. match.

Benedictine University is an independent Roman Catholic institution located in Lisle, Illinois just 25 miles west of Chicago. Founded in 1887, Benedictine provides 56 undergraduate majors, 16 graduate and four doctorate programs. Benedictine University’s Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program is listed by Crain’s Chicago Business as the fourth largest in the Chicago area in 2011.
