The Eagles volleyball squad kept rolling along last weekend, winning the Aurora University Jim Coleman Memorial Tournament by going 4-0 in the event. Benedictine improved to 8-1 on the season and took home a tournament title for the second time in as many attempts this year (also sharing top honors at the Illinois College tourney the previous weekend). Benedictine's road through the AU event began on Friday evening with a pair of wins over Mt. Mary College (30-10, 30-15, 30-7) and Purdue University-North Central (30-21, 30-21, 30-13). On Saturday, the Eagles defeated Manchester College, 3-1 (30-20, 30-21, 22-30, 30-25), going four games for the first and only time, thus far, in 2007. BU closed out the day with a sweep of rival (and host school) Aurora University, 3-0 (30-24, 30-26, 30-19).
