Thrower Matt Wilkin placed third in a highly-competitive weight toss event to highlight the Eagles' participation at the Carthage College Metzger Invitational in Kenosha, Wis. Wilkin's toss of 14.28 meters (46'10 1/4") led a strong display by Benedictine in which five of the top 20 finishers were from BU. Besides Wilkin, Devin Montgomery was 11th, Pete Sgarbossa 14th, Quarantus Taylor 15th and Tyler Burke 20th. Burke was 11th and Wilkin 12th in the shot put, as well. Ryan Chartrand ran the 9th-fastest time in the 55 meter hurdle qualifying, booking an 8.40, before placing a disappointing 12th in the finals. Robert Sanford was 14th in the 55 meter dash prelims in a time of 6.80, narrowly missing the cut for the finals. Sanford was also 11th in the 200 meters. Matt Kunz was 12th in the 400 meters. Hannah Miller and Kate Korzeniewski finished 6th in the women's mile. Miller was clocked at 5:53.72. Stacey Sara was 14th in the 200 meters (29.79).
