Benedictine University senior sprinter Kimyenna Abron (Chicago, Ill./Hyde Park H.S.) has advanced to the finals of the 100 meter dash at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Oshkosh, Wis. The finals of the 100 meters are on Saturday (May 24) and the top eight finishers are considered All-Americans. Abron - running in the first of three prelimnary heats on Friday evening - was the top finisher in her heat with an effort of 12.16 seconds. Her time was the fifth-best of Saturday's nine finalists.
