The Benedictine swim team closed the books on 2007-08 with its annual trek to the Liberal Arts Meet, hosted this year by Principia College (Mo.). Individually, women's sophomore Devin Kummer (Addison, Ill./Addison Trail H.S.) and men's senior Erik Morales (Evergreen Park, Ill./Evergreen Park H.S.) each swam their way to three top-10 finishes. Kummer earned sixth place finishes in both the 100 and 200 breast stroke events. She was also eighth in the 200 individual medley. Morales capped his collegiate career with a fourth place in the 200 butterfly, along with a seventh place in the 500 freestyle. He was the 10th place finisher in the 100 butterfily, as well. The men's 200 relay team was fifth, while the 400 freestyle relay team was sixth.
