BenU graduate students inducted into international business honor society

Lisle, Illinois ~ Sigma Beta Delta is an international honor society that recognizes outstanding academic performance and promise of future achievement among students in the fields of business, management and administration.

This year, the 2015 and 2016 graduating classes at Benedictine University inducted 50 graduate students from the College of Business into the University’s Sigma Beta Delta chapter. To qualify for selection, a student’s cumulative GPA must rank in the top 20 percent of their graduate business program.

Benedictine University became the 200th chapter of Sigma Beta Delta in 2003, and today has more than 400 members throughout the school’s traditional, accelerated, online and Asian graduate programs.

Students who were invited to join Sigma Beta Delta are on track to earn either a Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Accountancy, Master of Science in Management Information Systems, Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior, or Master of Science in Taxation degree.
