Tenth Annual Sr. Beata Dinner Auction

The 10th Annual Sr. Beata Dinner Auction is April 26, 2014 and less than a month away. Our fundraising event at Illini Country Club has a silent auction, great dinner and wine, music by Prairie Rose and a live auction. The purpose of our event is to raise money for the University's institutional scholarship fund. Student scholarship recipients help with the evening activities and join our guests for dinner.

Our worthy event raises scholarship funds in memory of Sr. Beata Knoedler, Professor Emerita in Chemistry and Mathematics, who educated, helped and inspired students for over fifty years.

At the end of the live auction, we designate a Fund-a-Need Project where people can donate a dollar amount (from $2000 to $25) towards its purchase. This year's Fund-a-Need Project is training room equipment (Ultra-Sound Stem Machine, Heater Unit and 2-Person Taping Table) for the Athletic Department. In the past, our guests' donations have helped the University purchase science equipment, communications lab equipment and a ceramic kiln for the art department. This year we are focusing on the needs of our athletes.

To tempt you, The Divine Wine Find is returning with an exciting piece of jewelry from Denny's Jewelers. The Alumni Association will again sponsor a raffle for the Lottery Tree.

Please make plans to attend our evening of food, fellowship and the opportunity to support a cause that we all believe in – a Benedictine private higher education for our students.
