② Although you qualify for credit in Benedictine University's Elementary Spanish I & Elementary Spanish II, you may be interested in an alternative way of receiving credit if you plan on pursuing Spanish courses at Benedictine University. If you take the Spanish Language placement exam and place higher than Spanish 201, you may be able to receive 200-level credit instead of 100-level credit. Please refer to the Spanish program information for further information, or contact the Department of Languages and Literature. If you do not plan on taking any additional Spanish courses at Benedictine University, credit for SPAN-101 and 102 can be awarded and it is not necessary to contact the Department of Languages and Literature.
