External and Foreign Credit

Benedictine University accepts college-level credit from several external credit programs, including credit earned from the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) and College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) courses and exams, and International Baccalaureate (IB) program credit. Students may earn a maximum of 30 approved credit hours through any one, or combination of, external credit programs toward the 120 credit hours required for a bachelor’s degree. Credit from international institutions may also be accepted after evaluation by an approved evaluator.
